Welcome to the 5th and final day of the challenge.
My goal today is to give you any last tools you might need to release your resistance towards any goal.
Advantages and Disadvantages
If you’ve been working on your goal for a while but not seeing many results, then it is likely that you are somehow holding it away from you subconsciously.
It is likely you have an attachment to your goal, but it is also possible that you have an aversion to it. These aversions are often hidden and a bit difficult to find.
So in these cases, we can use the advantages / disadvantages process to root out any hidden resistance.
It’s pretty simple. Just ask yourself, “What is an advantage of this goal?”
For whatever thought or feeling that arises, release it.
Then ask, “What is a disadvantage of this goal?”
Whatever thought or feeling that arises, just release it.
Sometimes it’s hard to come up with a disadvantage. So if you absolutely cannot find one, then just make one up. If you can even think about that possibility, then it is here to be released.
Go back and forth between advantage and disadvantage, until your mind is totally quiet and no more advantages or disadvantages come to the surface.
This is actually a simpler version of a more complex process called attachments and aversions, but I won’t discuss that until the mastermind.
You can try this process quite frequently to ensure that everything is released around that goal, both advantages and disadvantages.
Also, if you find a certain answer coming up frequently, you can do advantages and disadvantages on that.
For example, if a disadvantage of having the money is that it would be too easy and money has to be hard to earn, then you can do advantages and disadvantages to money being easy.
Squeezing the Lemon
In The Release Technique, they have a great method called “squeezing the lemon”.
It comes in two forms, as such:
- Imagine that you could never, ever get the goal, no matter how hard you tried.
- Imagine that you got the goal immediately and effortlessly no matter what you did.
Ask each question, one at a time until each is totally released.
You should be able to read each question without any emotional reaction whatsoever.
So for the $250 goal, the question would be:
Imagine you never, ever got $250, no matter how hard you tried.
If that triggers something, then release. And then read that question over and over again until there is no more reaction.
Imagine effortlessly and immediately getting $250, no matter what you did.
If that brings up anything, then release that.
Even if it brings up excitement, release that, too.
Ask that question over and over again until there is no emotional reaction.
You want to get to the point of imperturbability on your goal.
To be imperturbable literally means unable to be perturbed. In other words, you aren’t bothered by anything: you’re unbuggable.
All of the techniques this week have been geared around getting you to be imperturbable about your goal.
That means if the goal happens, it’s okay, and if it doesn’t happen, it’s okay.
Once you are imperturbable in regards to the goal, then you can simply choose to have it, and it will happen effortlessly.
Both methods discussed above will help with that. But I have one final technique that can help you to become imperturbable about your goal.
Ask yourself, “How okay would it be with me if I got this goal?”
Rate your answer out of 100. So 100 means you are absolutely okay with it with no hesitation.
If the answer is less than 100, then the remainder is your resistance.
So if your answer is 90, then the remaining 10% is resistance to having the goal.
So notice that 10% resistance, and let it go.
Then repeat the question: “How okay would it be with me if I got this goal?”
And rate your answer again.
Repeat the above until you are 100% okay with having the goal.
Then ask yourself, “How okay would it be with me if I did not get this goal?”
Rate your answer out of 100 again.
And again, the remainder is your resistance.
So if your answer is 90, then the other 10% is your resistance to not having the goal.
Notice that 10% resistance, and let it go.
Then ask the question again, until you are 100% okay with not having the goal.
Finally, you can simply choose to have the goal.
Homework for Day #5
If you’ve not been making a lot of progress on your goal, or you have another goal that’s stuck, then play around with the three processes given above to uncover any hidden resistance.
I’d apply the methods in the order I gave above: first, advantages / disadvantages, then squeezing the lemon, and finally checking how okay it would be to have, and not to have, the goal.
Do this until you are absolutely hootless about the goal: meaning you just don’t care if it happens or not.
Note that not caring doesn’t mean resigning to it not happening. Resignation is in the place of apathy, not imperturbability.
You want to feel absolutely free as to whether or not the goal happens, but then preferring for it to happen, just because.
This puts you in acceptance, instead of apathy. And acceptance is the best place to manifest your goals.
So one final exercise you could try is to ask yourself, “Am I accepting all that is right now?”
Living in that place of acceptance will allow you to have the greatest and most magical manifestations, without even trying.
Also continue the other homework exercises from the other four days.
This is the end of the 5 day money manifesting challenge.
I hope that you got everything you wanted out of it.
I know I shared a lot of techniques this week. All of them are extremely powerful, and can easily be applied to any future goals you may have.
You may ask, “How long should I do these techniques?”
And the answer is, continue them until you are absolutely imperturbable about everything in life.
That means, being imperturbable about having or not having money, having or not having a relationship, having or not having the health you want, having or not having the body you want, having or not having the job you want, having or not having the clients you want, having or not having the house you want, etc.
Wen you can be imperturbable, no matter what life throws at you, then you can stop releasing.
The only reason is that because by that point, you’ll have released it all, and you will just naturally be your true state of absolute peace and freedom.
So we’re not just talking about a single goal here.
We’re not even talking about just a few of your goals.
Release until you have it all, and then even more.
We’re talking about having absolute freedom, and from that place of freedom, having the ability to shape life to be exactly how you intend for it to be.
Not because you want it, as you will have left wanting far behind. No, it’s merely because you decide to.
