When you look at the world as it is today, it's rather easy to see it as broken, and in need of improvement.
As spiritual seekers, many of us ask, is it possible to create a perfect world? Is it possible to use the law of attraction to manifest a world that is free of suffering and full of harmony?
If so, how would such a world be created? What, exactly, would it look like?
Recently someone alluded to this very question, so I thought it would make a great topic for a blog post.
You Can't Create in Another's Reality
One of the basic tenets of the law of attraction is that there is no assertion in the Universe.
This is very good news, because it means that if you are feeling good, it is not possible that something bad can enter your reality against your will. If that does happen, it means that your energy was a lot more split than you thought it was.
But it also means that if someone is in a low vibration, nothing which is of a high vibration can find them.
- If you are holding a vibration of poverty, wealth cannot find you.
- If you are holding a vibration of loneliness, love and companionship cannot find you.
- If you are holding a vibration of sadness, happiness cannot find you.
Whatever vibration you hold most of the time, the Universe will give you more evidence of that vibration by reflecting it back to you in reality.
If you think about this, you know it to be true.
If you have ever met someone who is just determined to be miserable, you literally cannot do anything to cheer them up. They will just find you annoying, or misinterpret your every action as something to feel even more miserable about.
In other words, they will find more and more reasons to feel miserable, because they are so focused on the vibration of misery.
You simply cannot be happy enough to override their miserable vibration. And if you were to empathize with them in their misery, all that it would do is to validate their misery, and make you miserable right along with them.
There is simply no way that you can reach them where they are, unless they are willing to start creating deliberately, instead of creating by default. But, most people find it very difficult to use deliberate focus to create their reality, instead of focusing on what is, and creating more of what is.
“Deservingness” Doesn't Play a Part in the Law of Attraction
At this point some people might say, “But people who have a low vibration deserve happiness, too.”
And the answer is, yes, of course they do.
But, the fact remains that as long as they are not a match to happiness, happiness is not possible for them.
They are holding themselves out of the range of happiness.
The Universe knows nothing of deservingness. Or, better said, the Universe knows that everyone is deserving of all the good they can possibly receive.
However, as I said, there is no assertion in the law of attraction.
Even if there were some higher power that wanted to give happiness to everyone equally, it wouldn't be possible.
This is so because you choose when you are happy.
One person might see it raining outside and be happy the plants are getting watered, while another person might see the rain and grumble what a horrible day it is.
One person might see a clear day and be happy, and another person might see that same clear day and complain about how hot it is.
The external circumstances themselves are only things. They have no power by themselves to force you to feel any particular emotion.
So, how should the Universe force you to be happy, when you will interpret every event based on your low vibration?
You are such a powerful creator. You are so powerful, that you even have the power to remain in self-imposed bondage.
You Cannot Create a Perfect World
So, you see, you cannot create a perfect world.
Because what might be a perfect world to you, might be a terrible world to someone else.
How will you decide what is perfect? Will you take a vote? Will you decide based on your own standards of perfection?
No matter what you do, some people will always be left in what they consider to be an imperfect world.
And isn't this what people already try to do? They create governments based on what the people want, and many, many people are left feeling ostracized and alienated.
Or, they create a dictatorship based on what one person wants, and even more people are left feeling oppressed and unheard.
One person has one set of moral values, while another person has a completely different set of moral values. Which is correct? Which should be enforced?
Soon, you wind up with a world based on forced peace, which is never a long-term solution.
So what if we admit that we, ourselves, cannot create a perfect world?
Because, there is not one perfect world.
There is only the perfect world for you.
In my perfect world, there is equality, technological advances, the ability of people to follow their dreams, and many other things.
In the perfect world of, say, a fundamentalist Christian, there is society being run by traditional Christian values.
To an Atheist, the perfect world might be where the word “god” is removed from society altogether, and science is supreme.
Your perfect world is subjective to you.
So, what if instead of wishing your perfect world upon all people, that you simply manifest your perfect world for yourself?
That doesn't mean that the whole world has to follow your idea of a perfect world. That means that in your own reality, the world operates how you would like it to operate. It means that you are deliberate about the stories you tell about the world.
You don't tell stories about things you don't like. You only tell stories about that which is wanted, to you.
And, you allow others to create reality as they would like to create it for themselves, even if they aren't creating very well right now. But, they are on their path, and they can never get it wrong, just as you can never get it wrong.
What If the World Is Perfect Already?
This will likely be the hardest point to grasp, because people seem to want to see this world as imperfect.
However, what if it is already perfect?
What if everyone is creating reality to the best of their ability, and constantly being led to greater and greater connection with their higher self?
Here's the thing: you didn't come here for an easy life.
Of course, you can create an easy life, but you didn't come here with the intention of, as Abraham calls it, having a feathered nest from day 1.
You came with the intention of contrast. You came with the intention of discovering what you don't want, so you can discover what you do want.
It's like when I play the piano. I don't choose the easiest pieces out there. If I did, I'd get extremely bored.
No, I choose pieces that are a challenge to me. I choose pieces that are difficult, because I enjoy the challenge of getting better and better at playing them. And then, when I do finally master that piece, I feel so much better than if I could do it from day 1.
And that was your intention when coming into this world.
This is a world of contrast. If you wanted a world of ease, you would have chosen a world of ease. But you didn't. You chose this beautiful world of variety and immense contrast, so that you could powerfully focus on the wanted, and create reality as you want it to be.
So, the world is already perfect as it is, because it provides you with the contrast that you craved, and gives you the impetus to focus on the wanted.
How could you know what it is that you want, unless you find out what it is that you don't want?
The issue arises when people continue to focus on what they don't want, to the degree that they continue to create exactly that.
But, their higher self will continue to focus on the wanted for them, giving them powerful feedback via their emotional guidance system.
That emotional guidance system will give stronger and stronger feedback, which is more and more painful, until that person takes their focus off of the unwanted.
Abraham always says, if you don't notice your resistance, don't worry: it'll get bigger.
It's really a perfect system.
Those who learn to recognize this pattern will realize that when they focus on what they want, good-feeling things happen, and when they focus on what they don't want, bad-feeling things happen.
This is such common knowledge today that there have been many, many books written on the subject by many different authors. This principle was written about in ancient scriptures as well, because it is as old as time itself.
Begin Creating for Yourself
The only thing to do is to stop trying to create for others, and begin creating for yourself.
Begin creating the kind of world that you want to live in, by only telling the story that you want to be true.
Stop telling the story of a deteriorating, scary world.
Start telling the story of a world that is getting better and better every day.
Will this create a better world for others? Once again, not unless they are a match to that better world.
But it will be better for you.
You will live in the way that you want to live. You will tell the stories that you want to see in the world. You will be a deliberate creator of your reality.
I know, we want to uplift others and help them to the best of our ability.
But the truth is, we can only help certain people.
There are some people who are so focused on their negative world, so insistent on creating that negative world over and over again, that you simply cannot reach them, no matter how loudly you shout or how often you tell them they are a creator.
I had to learn this lesson early, and it's not an easy lesson to learn.
But, put into your Vortex—into your vibrational reality—the desire that the people that can be helped by you, will come effortlessly into your reality.
And, they will. They will be drawn to you like a magnet.
The truth is, you can't help everyone. But, you can help those who can be helped. You can help those who are a match to you helping them.
But, the most important thing is that you create your own reality how you want it to be. You are the only one who can create it, and similarly, those whom you help must learn to create their own reality, too.
Everyone is responsible for their own alignment. That's how we intended it to be.
So, focus on your own alignment, and then help those who naturally come to you, while seeing them as the powerful creators they are.
That is how you can create your perfect world.
